When a domain name expires, there's a time period of a little over 2 months when it's not active, but may still be renewed by its current user. During this time, the domain cannot be taken by anybody else, but if it isn't renewed, it enters the so-called Pending Deletion period which lasts 5 days. This is when ICANN-accredited registrar firms take backorders for such domains. If a given name is backordered, the registrar will make an attempt to register it for the customer the second it's deleted and offered to the general public, which gives people a chance to acquire a short and memorable domain that may have been employed by someone else until now. If the domain is extremely attractive, several companies may try to register it in the same time and because this happens on a first-come, first-serve basis, there is no guarantee that a particular person will have that domain. Nevertheless, using a backorder service will give you a much better chance to end up getting a specific domain than if you try to register it personally.

Because there is no 100% guarantee that we'll be able to register a given domain name, if our attempt is unsuccessful, the money for that domain will be available as a credit in your account and will not be wasted.

Domain Backorder in VPS Servers

The billing Control Panel of our VPS servers includes a domain backorder area where you shall find all of the domain names which will be deleted within the next several days. We offer the service as our company is a partner of an ICANN-licensed company and we provide very affordable prices. The list in the Control Panel includes all domains due to be deleted and you can use filters and select the deletion date, minimum and maximum length and even the extension of the domains that will be displayed. You'll also be able to narrow the list of domains by specifying if they should include only dictionary words or a specific word/phrase of your choice. The money for any unsuccessful registration attempt will be deposited in your billing account and you'll be able to use it for any other domain or web hosting service.

Domain Backorder in Dedicated Servers

We provide a backorder service for all our customers as a licensed registrar company and you will be able to take advantage of it via the billing Control Panel of your dedicated server. Several filters will make it easy to narrow the list of domains which you see because there are thousands of domain names being deleted on a daily basis. With several mouse clicks you will be able to choose what extensions to be viewable, how long the domain names should be and when exactly they'll be deleted. In addition to that, you can opt to view only names that contain dictionary words or a phrase of your choosing, so you could quickly find each name that may interest you. Placing your order will take just a click and in case we can register the particular domain name, you'll be able to control it from the exact same Control Panel.
